All the big car rental companies you would expect are represented at Murcia and Alicante airport. We use La Manga Rent a Car. They seem to be the most popular car rental company on the La Manga Club – probably because they have an office there.

The only slightly disconcerting sight for the first time user is La Manga Rent a Car ‘mobile’ airport office. Unlike the other big companies which have permanent offices in the airport itself, La Manga Rent a Car has opted for a van in the airport car park. The site of a dusty white van with minimal logos and flat tyres (I’m guessing to prevent anyone driving off with it) can be off-putting. But there’s always a company representative on hand to complete the forms and bring round your hire car.
