From my own experience La Manga Tennis has something for everyone. While catering to high standard players, with top quality facilities, beginners are very welcome. The La Manga Tennis booking office is efficient. Make sure you book in advance of your stay. You can either phone or email - payment in advance is required if you are booking ahead.
Kids in particular are very welcome. Again, all standards are catered for. The Pro Academy, for serious youngsters, is fantastic and will keep budding champions happy for hours each day. Selection for the academy takes place at the start of the week. The coaches are top notch and teaching is done in English – although the quality of language skills is variable.
There is a tennis shop on-site and while it has a comprehensive range of stock it’s quite pricey. The nearest serious sports shop outside the resort is in Cartegena, a 20-minute car ride away.
